Hearst Media Production Group Adds Cathy Perifimos to Team

Cathy Perifimos has joined Hearst Media Production Group (HMPG) as VP of business affairs.

Perifimos is an entertainment industry attorney and has experience in unscripted programming and film across international platforms.

She is a Paramount Global and CBS Corporation alum, where she managed legal affairs for the Smithsonian Channel and across the MTV Entertainment Group. Most recently, she worked as counsel with boutique law firms. In this position, her practice focused on entertainment and media, including scripted television, film and talent representation.

Perifimos holds a degree from Columbia and a Juris Doctor from New York’s Yeshiva University. She is a founding board member of Barnard Women in Entertainment, a member of the Filmmakers Legal Clinic Board and on the Fashion, Arts, Media and Entertainment (FAME) Advisory Board at Cardozo School of Law.
