Renowned magician David Blaine returned to the screen for National Geographic’s David Blaine Do Not Attempt. In it, he travels the world to discover various real magic practices and rituals and learn the secrets behind them.

Across six episodes, produced by Imagine Documentaries, Blaine visits remote regions in Brazil, Southeast Asia, the Arctic Circle, India, South Africa and Japan to meet with shamans, fakirs, magicians and many others to shed light on what it takes to perform their unique feats. All six episodes are available to stream now on Hulu and Disney+.

In this video interview, executive producer Chris St. John tells TV Real Weekly about connecting with the people Blaine meets, the safety precautions taken throughout filming and how the crew sought to portray the practices and rituals with respect.
