BIG Media has secured licensing deals for five series in the U.S., Canada, CEE and Italy.

National Geographic acquired the rights to Danger Decoded in the U.S. The series, co-produced by NTV, RMC Story and WildBear, uncovers the world’s most perilous places and explores what makes them so dangerous.

Nat Geo CEE and Blue Ant in Canada licensed Fatal Engineering, a new co-production with NTV that focuses on high-profile accidents, uncovering human errors, design flaws and unforeseen circumstances that result in devastating outcomes.

Nat Geo CEE also picked up Fatal Forecast, exploring the rising frequency, intensity and causes of extreme weather events, and Hitler’s Gold, a miniseries that uncovers the secret financial empire behind Adolf Hitler’s rise to power.

In Italy, Rai acquired the first season of Destruction Decoded, a BIG Media co-production with RMC. It explores the extent, impact and causes of mega floods, earthquakes, tornados, industrial accidents and more.

“2025 is off to an incredible start in terms of global sales,” said Danny Wilk, president of BIG Media. “We’re delighted to be working so closely with Nat Geo’s teams around the world and other top-tier partners like Rai TV and Blue Ant. These deals represent a great mix of new and established shows, and we’re confident they will be a hit with viewers in all of these regions like our prior originals.”
