All3Media International has acquired the global rights to distribute a slate of new unscripted titles from the female-led indie Candour Productions.

The deal includes The Essex Millionaire Murders, The British Blood Scandal: Poisoned at School, The Disappearance of Jay Slater (w.t.) and Slaying at Sycamore Gap (w.t.).

The Essex Millionaire Murders, a two-parter that launched last month on ITV1, tells a story of deception, manipulation and murder.

The British Blood Scandal: Poisoned at School is a one-hour special revealing an untold part of the worst medical disaster in NHS history. It is produced for ITV and is set to air in the U.K. later this year.

The feature-length special The Disappearance of Jay Slater, in production for Channel 4, delves into the disappearance of British teen Jay Slater in Tenerife last year.

The two-part Slaying at Sycamore Gap explores the deliberate felling of the iconic Sycamore Gap tree, a 200-year-old tree that stood in a remote nook of Hadrian’s Wall in Northumberland, a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is being produced for Channel 4.

“We have long admired Candour’s high-quality, agenda-setting documentaries and the company’s work in championing inclusive filmmaking, so we are thrilled to bring this collection of Candour’s titles to a global stage,” said Rachel Job, senior VP of unscripted content at All3Media International. “The demand for thought-provoking, attention-grabbing documentaries is as strong as ever, and our clients—and their viewers—will be eager to dive into this collection. Collaborating with producers of Candour’s caliber ensures we continue to be the go-to source of premium, unscripted titles from the industry’s very best creatives, and we hope this will be just the start of a successful partnership.”

Anna Hall, founder and chief creative officer at Candour Productions, added, “We’re very pleased to partner with All3Media International on taking four of our latest titles to the global market. The team has an impressive track record in maximizing the international potential of premium documentaries, so we know they are in expert hands. The titles joining All3Media International’s slate explore globally relevant themes of grooming, fraud and online safety to a bizarre crime that reverberated around the world—and we look forward to these important stories reaching a worldwide audience.”
