Team Nuggets Finds Home in Germany with ZDF

Serious Kids has secured a broadcast deal for season one of Team Nuggets with ZDF in Germany.

The kids’ comedy series centers on an ambitious young chicken and her classmates, following as they navigate school for the first time. It will air in Germany on KiKA later this year.

Team Nuggets was originally commissioned by DR from Sparre Production and co-produced with Godo Films for CANAL+ France. Serious Kids acquired the worldwide content distribution rights, excluding the Nordics and French-speaking Europe, from Sparre Production in 2024.

The deal with ZDF follows the recently announced deal with RTVE in Spain. The series is also currently airing on DR in Denmark, CANAL+ in France, Česká televize in the Czech Republic, RTV in Slovenia, RTBF in Belgium and RTS in Switzerland.
