Cartoon Network Sets Premiere Date for Gumball’s Return

The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball is slated to premiere on Cartoon Network and HBO Max across EMEA, LatAm and the Asia Pacific on October 6.

Produced by Hanna-Barbara Studios Europe, the series returns to Elmore as it builds on the universe of The Amazing World of Gumball, which ran for six seasons.

Created and executive produced by Ben Bocquelet, the animated comedy blends 2D and 3D animation, CGI, puppetry, photorealism and live action. Matt Layzell and Erik Fountain serve as executive producers and series directors. The voice cast includes Alkaio Thiele as Gumball, Hero Hunter as Gumball’s younger brother Darwin, Kinza Syed Khan as younger sister Anais, Teresa Gallagher as his mother Nicole, and Dan Russell as his father Richard.

The launch campaign for the show on Cartoon Network this summer includes daily clips of the best moments from The Amazing World of Gumball.
