For the first time, Call the Midwife will mark Christmas with a two-part special for BBC iPlayer and BBC One, in co-production with PBS.

Neal Street Productions (1917) has expanded its TV and film development team with the hiring of Jessica Da Silva as development coordinator and Jessica Burdett as executive producer.

The BBC has commissioned two more seasons of Neal Street Productions’ Call the Midwife.

BBC One has ordered an additional two seasons of Call the Midwife, taking the show up to 2022.
