Netflix Adaptation for Korean Webtoon

Kakao Entertainment’s webtoon Field Mouse is being adapted into a live-action series at Netflix Korea.

The Rat (w.t.) stars Ryu Jun-yeol and Sul Kyung-gu and is billed as a chilling thriller about a reclusive novelist who finds himself stripped of his name, identity and finances, leading him to team up with a loan shark-turned-private investigator to get his life back.

Kim Hong-sun serves as director with a script by Lee Jae-gon. Kakao Entertainment is co-producing the series alongside CJes Studios and H.House.
